Spiritual Care

Prior to her work in formal ministry, Mary was an educator working in the related fields of special education and school psychology. She retired from her career as a professor of early childhood special education when she enrolled in seminary in 2003. Ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in 2006, Mary was a resident chaplain at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before entering parish ministry. During her time as a parish priest in McCook, Nebraska, Mary served as chaplain for the Community Hospital Hospice program. She retired from full time parish ministry and relocated to Nebraska in 2017. A board certified clinical chaplain, Mary also holds a Clinical Fellow in Hospice and Palliative Care credential and is a certified spiritual director.
