Becca received both her Bachelor of Journalism and her Master of Arts in Integrated Media Communications from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She currently serves as President of the HoriSun Hospice Community Foundation and the Seniors Foundation of Lincoln, is a member of the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group and the Nebraska Caregiver Coalition, and serves as Program Chair for the Lincoln Coalition for Older Adult Health Promotion, having previously served as President. Becca has had personal experiences with her own family members on hospice services and feels passionate about educating others on the many benefits hospice provides.
